Hensheng (恨生, Hènshēng) is Jin Guangyao's sword.

Description

Hensheng is a flexible "soft sword," easily hidden on the user's body by wrapping it wrapped around the user's waist or arm. Its blade, however, is extremely sharp. Once it has been wrapped around an object, its user can send spiritual power through the sword to cut that object into pieces.

Use

Jin Guangyao conceals Hensheng at his waist or arm while undercover in the Qishan Wen Clan, only drawing it at critical moments.

After Jin Guangyao discovers Wei Wuxian in his paperman form, he draws Hensheng to attack him. Once Wei Wuxian's identity is exposed before the clans, he again draws Hensheng on him.

Manhua Divergence

In the Manhua, Hensheng is not a soft sword.

Web Series Divergence

Although Jin Guangyao does use a soft sword to assassinate Wen Ruohan, he claims to have discarded it after realizing it possessed dark energy. It is unknown if this is the same sword as Hensheng.
